We are in our multiplication and division unit in Math. The children will be expected to multiply a 4 digit number by a 1 digit number and a 2 digit number by a 2 digit number. They will be expected to divide a 4 digit number by a 1 digit number. The children that know all their basic multiplication fact will have a quicker grasp of these learning goals. As an incentive to memorize their multiplication facts, those children that have their facts through 12s memorized by Oct. 31 will get to participate in a "Silly String War" on Nov. 3rd.

*READ, READ, READ 15 to 20 minutes every night. You can use these minutes towards your "Book It" reading goal of 300 minutes per month.
